Ikegami Announces MDR-600HD-A Medical Video Recorder

MDR-600HD-A

Latest generation model retains the ease of use and stability of Ikegami products. Standard features now include doubled recording capacity plus network functionality.

Ikegami Tsushinki will introduce its latest-generation MDR-600HD-A medical digital video recorder in April 2025. Compared with previous models, the new recorder doubles the capacity of the built-in HDD to 1 TB and comes with network functions as standard features rather than options, to further improve usability in the medical field.

The Ikegami MDR-600HD-A inherits the functions and performance of the established MDR-600HD which has been well received since its launch. Easy to use and highly stable, the MDR-600HD-A accepts analog and digital video sources at 640 x 480 pixel resolution up to Full HD 1920 x 1080. Source signal type and resolution are automatically detected, allowing practically instant recording using a single pushbutton on the front panel. A built-in LCD monitor enables the user to check images and display the recorder’s control menu.

The capacity of the internal HDD has been increased from 500 GB to 1 TB, doubling the recording time on the device itself. The ability to record to three channels (internal HDD and two USB media) provides maximum flexibility and peace of mind for important data management.

Network functionality, which was previously optional, is now included as standard. This allows simultaneous recording directly to an FTP or CIFS server via a LAN connection without the security risks that can arise when sharing USB devices with third parties. Recorded image files can also be copied for transfer in folders.

The MDR-600HD-A will be exhibited at the 91st CMEF (China International Medical Equipment Fair) 2025 in Shanghai, April 8th-11th.
