Ikegami has a long experience in the development and supply of high-grade video cameras. Its medical-grade imaging, recording and display products are the choice of top surgeons and professionals pursuing perfection. The hospital was already an established user of Ikegami cameras and recorders, and has invested in an MKC-X200 to update its surgical microscope facility. The image quality in the MKC-X200 demonstration was very clear and liked by everyone. An additional deciding factor this time was Ikegami’s support system which enable doctors to provide advanced medical care.
The MKC-X200 single-CMOS is Ikegami’s smallest and lightest camera head, facilitating efficient and effective mounting onto various surgical microscopes. An inbuilt electronic shutter continuously optimizes image brightness based on subject illumination, allowing precise exposure control. An electronic freeze-frame function allows detailed examination of high-quality still images, activated on the CCU or using an optional foot switch. Optical inversion in equipment such as microscopes can be corrected quickly and easily by flipping the monitor image vertically and/or horizontally.
