NAB Show 2026 Exhibition Overview 

NAB Show 2026 booth C3819, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA: Ikegami Tsushinki will promote its wide range of broadcast-quality production equipment on Central Hall booth C3819 at the April 19-22 2026 NAB Show in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Among key Ikegami exhibits will be the IPX-100 IP extension unit which enables SMPTE ST 2110 IP remote operations in the same way as baseband live production workflows. We will also show camera systems featuring UHD HDR support, HFR support and IP connectivity, centering on the Ikegami UNICAM XE series. A Variable ND Filter Function, planned as an optional feature for the UNICAM XE series, will be shown as a reference exhibit. This function allows lens F-stop values to remain fixed while controlling video exposure via the ND filter, expanding the creative possibilities of video production. 

Ikegami will also demonstrate system configurations using the compact and lightweight UHL-X40 multipurpose camera, as well as 4K/HD monitors including a full HD multiformat LCD monitor, offering solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers.

■ IPX-100 IP Extension Unit

IPX-100

The IPX-100 is an IP extension unit with SMPTE ST 2110 Media-over-IP compliance, representing a new lineup of base stations for the UNICAM XE and UNICAM HD series. Achieving a compact 2U half-rack size and low power consumption, it supports bidirectional optical transmission and camera head power via a composite opto-electrical cable. It enables IP system integration in studios and IP remote production for outside broadcast applications, contributing to greater operational efficiency. Optional license-based software upgrades add IP gateway functionality and JPEG XS support, allowing flexible adaptation to a wide range of needs and enabling seamless expansion to an IP system with easy configuration.

■ UNICAM XE　UHK-X750 4K/HD Studio Camera System

The UHK-X750 and UHK-X700 adopt a newly developed ⅔-inch global shutter 3-CMOS sensor reproducing natural 4K images free from the distortion and flash banding associated with rolling shutters. The UHK-X750 also benefits from a studio-style body which allows the viewfinder to be positioned close to the optical axis for superior handling. Compliance with HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) HDR and wide color gamut ITU-R BT.2020 enables natural image rendition even in outdoor settings or event shoots with extreme differences in luminance. The camera incorporates advanced video production functions including Remote Back Focus that allows back focus adjustment from the video engineer's operation panel, and F-Drop Correction that compensates for peripheral light falloff during zoom shooting with high-magnification lenses. Direct 12G-SDI output from the camera head supports a wide variety of standalone camera operation styles.

■ UNICAM XE　UHK-X600 4K Upgradable HD Portable Camera System

The UHK-X600 adopts a newly developed ⅔-inch global shutter 3-CMOS sensor, reproducing high-quality images without rolling shutter distortion or flash banding. The addition of a 4K license key enables native 4K output, making it an ideal choice as an HD camera in preparation for future 4K migration. With an optional upgrade, HFR (High Frame Rate) shooting at up to 4x speed in HD is also supported for capturing fast-moving subjects in outside broadcast production or stadium environments. Compliance with HLG HDR and wide color gamut ITU-R BT.2020 enables natural and rich image expression. When used with compatible lenses, the Remote Back Focus and F-Drop Correction functions allow optimal camera image adjustment in both UHD and HD.

■ UNICAM XE HDK-X500 HD Portable Camera System

This is a multiformat HD portable camera system equipped with a high-performance ⅔-inch 3-CMOS sensor. It delivers low-noise, clear imagery with high sensitivity of F11 and 62 dB signal to noise ratio. Features include 3G format support and advanced color management with 16-axis color correction. An HDR function using the HLG gamma curve achieves a wide dynamic range that extends the expressible range from shadows to highlights, reproducing gradations that closely reflect human visual acuity. The system can also be operated in combination with the OCP-500, a space-saving operation control panel with a width of just 82 mm.

The VFL-P710AD supports digital and analog interfaces,　and is compatible with cameras in the UNICAM XE and UNICAM HD series. It features an advanced LCD panel suitable for use in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor settings.

The VFE-P711AD features a high-performance 7-inch OLED panel, making it particularly effective for sports broadcasting and HFR shooting. It supports digital and analog interfaces, and is compatible with cameras in the UNICAM XE AND UNICAM HD series.

■ BSX-100 Base Station

BSX-100

The BSX-100 is a compact and lightweight base station in a half-rack-width 3U form factor that allows installation in outside broadcast vehicles or spaces where room is limited. It is compatible with Ikegami UHK-X750, UHK-X700, UHK-X650 and UHK-X600 cameras. An optional upgrade allows HFR operation at up to 2x speed in 4K and up to 8x speed in HD. The BSX-100 supports simultaneous 4K/HD operation and can be equipped with a Media over IP interface compliant with SMPTE ST 2110 and supporting NMOS IS-04 and IS-05, enabling flexible adaptation to IP-based workflows. In addition to the HDK-73 UNICAM HD camera it is also compatible with the HDK-97A, HDK-79GX and HDK-55 models, supporting a smooth transition from HD to 4K operation.

■ UHL-X40 4K/HD Compact Multi Purpose Camera

The UHL-X40 is a compact 4K/HD multipurpose camera supporting various operational configurations and ideal for robotic studio or remote installations. The low power consumption of the camera head unit minimizes heat generation, making it well-suited for outdoor applications such as sports close-ups, theatre-stage  video capture, weather monitoring, point-of-view imaging and disaster-prevention. The UHL-X40 readily adapts to unmanned studio operation via remote control and dynamic visual presentations in combination with robotic systems.

■ HQLM-3120W 4K/HD Multi Format LCD Monitor

The HQLM-3120W is a 4K HDR-compatible multiformat broadcast monitor featuring a 31.1-inch UHD (4096×2160) 10-bit IPS LCD panel with LED backlight, achieving high contrast (1500:1), wide color gamut and wide viewing angles (178° horizontal and vertical). It offers standard support for 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI Q/L (SQD/2SI), HD-SDI and HDMI (HDCP 2.2 compatible). HDR support includes ITU-R BT.2100 HLG, SMPTE ST.2084 PQ, and other Log formats. SDI/HDMI embedded audio is also supported.

The HQLM-1720WR is a 4K HDR-compatible multiformat broadcast monitor featuring a 4K UHD 17.3-inch (3840×2160) IPS LCD panel with LED backlight. It offers standard support for 12G-SDI with 2 inputs/outputs, up to 5 inputs/outputs for 3G/HD-SDI, and 1 HDMI (HDCP 2.2) input. HDR support includes ITU-R BT.2100 HLG, SMPTE ST.2084 PQ, and other Log formats. The monitor features comprehensive HDR-compatible waveform (RGB/YCbCr) and vector displays. It is ideally suited for monitor racks (7U) and rack-mount installation in master control rooms and outside broadcast vehicles.

Inheriting the features and performance of its predecessor, the HLM-2460WA achieves superior image quality with its a high contrast ratio of 1800:1. TSL V5.0 protocol allows tally and UMD displays to be integrated via Ethernet, making it well-suited for monitor wall applications. The monitor's WUXGA resolution LCD panel is ideal for use with non-linear editing systems.

The HLM-960WR is an HD monitor equipped with a full HD panel. In addition to high brightness and high contrast achieved through IPS technology, it offers wide viewing angles, fast response times and accurate color reproduction. A wide variety of inputs are provided as standard, including multi-SDI (3G/HD/SD, 2 channels), HDMI, analog composite video and analog audio. PIP is also supported. AC/DC/battery operation allows the monitor to be used in practically any location.
