The 57D is a compact and light-weight one-piece microwave transmitter.
The design construction permits a variety of applications including mobile or limited space locations.
It can input a HD-SDI or SD-SDI signal with a built-in codec.
Despite of the compactness, it outputs 200mW power (7GHz Band) and enables a practical distance transmission.
- A MPEG-2 or JPEG2000 or H.264 Encoder is available as built-in codec.

Two models available for a choice by application
The PP-57D is an OFDM modulation model. The OFDM modulation maintains robust transmission even in multi-path conditions. The PP-57D is switchable between the single carrier QAM and OFDM.

Mounting the PP-57/57D on ENG camera for wireless system
Mounting the PP-57/57D on ENG camera for wireless system Hardware is available to mount a PP-57/57D on an Ikegami HDTV camera to realize a wireless HD camera system.
3,000m transmission in OFDM at 24Mbps bit rate
The PP-57D system transmits about 3,000m in OFDM, at 24Mbps bit rate, with an omni-directional TX antenna and 0.3φm parabolic RX antenna.
